back from buenos aires

not a bad time of the year to visit buenos aires as it's turning to summer right now and the temps were in the 80-90s. i really, really, really liked the city and people. quite clean, safe and the people are very active and fit as well as nice. it also has a definite european feel.
the trees were definitely my favorite part of the trip. the one above is a rubber tree and is over 300 years old.....aparently this is old for one of these suckers. it was pretty crazy as the branches grow horizontal to the ground. just massive....and a bit creepy, which is ok with me.
oh, i haven't told my wife yet, but i kissed a man (on the cheek) for the 1st time during my visit....not counting my son of course. it is clear that hellos and goodbyes are not taken lightly in buenos aires and in some cases a simple handshake just won't do.yes, i had some meet. ojo de bife (rib eye) to be exact. this piece of meat can not be described with words....pure deliciousness. i've had kobe beef, texas steaks, home grown / raised beef from god's country (pontiac) and on and on, nothing comes even close. that's all i can say.
next visit i'll have to make my way to the santa cruz province and patagonia....
stay phat.
