the family went to sobo today for a run as the weather was quite nice....little wind for a change (only 15-20mph) and the temp was about 50F. we are trying to enjoy those things about boulder that drew us here....days like today will certainly be missed. at any rate, here are a couple shots of the fam...
so it looks like we've found a great home for lucky....as she can't be crated without severely damaging herself, we are forced to find a home for her here in CO. a dude at work came up with a brilliant idea and it looks like it will be a great place for lucky to enjoy the golden years of her life. as it turns out, the sunrise retirement home in westminster had a pet dog that just recently expired and they were in search of another, elderly, dog. lucky had a trial day on thursday and they loved her. the old geezers got a real hoot out of her.... i believe the first thing i heard when i dropped her off was, "he-he-he, look at that gertrude, it's a dog....ha-ha-he-he....etc., etc., etc." everyone keep your fingers crossed.
next tasks: rent condo, sell cars....
